CAN I BRING MY PHONE NUMBER TO DEFENSE MOBILE?
Yes. We support number porting in almost all cases. We can check and let you know if your number is eligible for porting prior to initiating your purchase of our service. If you suspect your number may not be portable for some reason, please submit a support ticket here.
HOW LONG DOES THE PORTING PROCESS TAKE?
In most cases porting a number to Defense Mobile takes less than 10 minutes. Depending on the carrier you are coming from, porting can take up to 24 hours. If there is a problem with the port it can take up to 72 hours. If any part of the information entered is incorrect, the port will not complete. Please check our porting guide above to ensure the information is correct. Your current service and SIM Card should continue to work until the port completes.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CURRENT SERVICE AFTER I PORT MY NUMBER TO DEFENSE MOBILE?
In most cases, once the porting process is complete, your account with your old service provider will automatically be cancelled. You may want to contact your current carrier to ensure that your account has been cancelled.
SHOULD I CANCEL MY CURRENT SERVICE BEFORE PORTING MY NUMBER TO DEFENSE MOBILE?
No. You must keep your account active with your current carrier when porting your number to Defense Mobile so you don’t lose the phone number you are trying to port. In most cases, your account with your previous service provider will automatically be cancelled when the port completes.
